Potato - 2 medium
Chicken - 250 gms ( washed and cut into small pieces) ( I have used boneless ones but any portion will do)
Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - a bunch
Oil
For marinating chicken
Yogurt - 2 table spoon
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Method
1. Marinate the chicken pieces with above ingredients and set aside for 15 minutes.
2. Cut potato into wedges and deep fry in oil. Set aside in paper towel.
3. Deep fry the chicken pieces and set aside.
4. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and saute the chopped onions.
5. Add red chilly powder, cumin powder , turmeric powder and salt and roast well. Add a little water if necessary.
6. Add the fried potato and chicken pieces and mix well.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve warn with roti or rice.
