Chicken Pieces - 200 gms ( I have used boneless ones)
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Shallots - 12 - 15 ( chopped)
Ginger - 1 teaspoon ( minced)
Curry leaves - few
Red chilly powder - 3 teaspoon
Cumin seed - 2 teaspoon
Garam Masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Coconut oil - 2-3 tablespoon
Method
1. Clean and cut the chicken into small pieces.
2. Grind the shallots, crated coconut, minced ginger and cumin seeds.
3. Marinate the chicken with the ground mixture, red chilly powder, Salt and garam masala powder. Let it rest for 3-4 hours.
4. Heat oil in a pan and allow to cook the marinated chicken pieces with curry leaves on medium to low flame for 10 - 15 minutes till the chicken is tender.
Serve warm with lemon wedges and sliced onion.
