Potato - 1 medium (Boiled and mashed)
Cooked basmati rice or any white rice - 1 cup
Onion - 1 small (Chooped)
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
Green chilly - 2 no:s ( adjust according to spice)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Hing/ asafoetida - a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method
1. Mix potato, onion, green chiily, ginger garlic paste , red chilly powder, turmeric powder, hing, Garam masala powder and salt well.
2. Shape them into rolls.
3. Spread the cooked rice in a plate.
4. Roll these potato rolls in the rice till it is well covered.
5. Refrigerate in an airtight box for atleast an hour if desired. This step is to retain the shape.
6. Deep fry in oil.
Serve hot with any sauce of choice
