This is a quick and easy recipes with french beans that can be enjoyed any time of the day.
Ingredients
French beans - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1 table spoon
Salt - a pinch
Pepper - 1 tsp ( adjust according to taste)
Bread crumbs - 1/4 cup
Method
1. Wash French beans thoroughly in cold water. Chop them as desired - thinly, thickly or julienne. Boil some water in a pan. Add a pinch of salt and soda for it will help it cook faster and retain the colour too. Boil for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat and strain it. To enhance its colour, it can be immersed in cold water for another 5 mins and then drained again.
2. Heat butter in a pan. Saute the blanched french beans. Add salt and pepper.
3. Add bread crumbs and coat the beans nicely.
